Works well! It does a great job of keeping the humidity below 50% but in my opinion, the reservoir is far too small. The unit shuts off every 6-8 hours because the reservoir is full. I think morning and night would be sufficient. I empty it when I wake up in the morning, when I get from work and when I go to bed. Each time it has already shut off due to the reservoir being full. Besides this one issue, it is a great unit, relatively quiet, and easy to set up and use.

We owned this same dehumidifier at our last place, and it wasn’t nearly as noisy as this one. The fan sound is okay, but when running to maintain a humidity level, the compressor make a rattling knocking sound just before turning off. It is on the main floor and the only way to run it somewhat quietly throughout the night is to run it on the continuous mode. I know it’s been a wet and humid summer in Minnesota, but we have a one-story 2000 square foot home, and I have to empty it 3 time a day, and can only get the humidity down to 50%.

Quick and easy set up but after 3 years the unit freezes up on start up. As soon as it kicks on the coils begin to freeze. It will no longer pull the moisture out that it did before. Also a hose would not seal on the drain. The threads are not very good.

I’m reading others have had this problem, too. I am searching all over for a way to contact customer service about it, but I see no website to do so, so here’s a review. Where is Gocheer’s customer service information? The device worked perfectly until it just stopped. I investigated options like the button getting stuck, which it wasn’t, or replacing the filter, which I cannot find, and it’s not that complicated of a device, so I am sure it’s just not accessible on this model.

The description online says this product is good for 650 sq. ft. However, the booklet that comes with it says it is only good for 480 sq. ft. Not quite as strong as I wanted. On top of that in over 24 hours it only accumulated 1 inch of water in the reservoir when the dew point was at 60. The only 2 nice things I can say is that it looks nice and is super quiet. Other than that it was a waste of my money I would’ve spent on a little stronger machine. Sorry.

Let me say that we have two of these Dehumidifiers. We have a new house and the builder told us to get a dehumidifier. The second one we brought in April for the basement. It worked good for about 2 months. Now it does not shut off when it is full of water and overflows. The first time we did not catch it in time. It overflowed and we had water in our carpet. I put the dehumidifier on something to catch the water in case it happened again. I have been watching it pretty close and emptying it often. This past week we were very busy, and I forgot to check it. And again, it overflowed. Thankfully the item that it was on kept the water in and not on our carpet. It is past the time that I could send this back and get a new one otherwise I would of.

Used for 11 months. Quit working. UPDATE: The company reached-out directly, and offered to make things right by sending a replacement unit. The unit had been updated since I purchased mine. Shortly after receiving the replacement unit, my 2nd unit (bought 11 months prior) quit working! I contacted the company to explain the situation, and they are unwilling to replace the 2nd unit as they’ve already sent 1 unit. I tried to explain that I purchased TWO units, and BOTH quit working 11 months after using them. Customer service tried to “tug at my heartstrings”, but I only see it as unprofessional: “And I am a new intern employee, this will be included in my probation period assessment, I really need this job. Could u please help me remove this bad review based on our service?” I will only consider an update when my 2nd unit is also replaced, as requested multiple times.

I have three adjacent approximately 12×14 bedrooms. I’ve been using the Humsure 30-pint unit for several weeks now and it’s solved my issue of musty room/closet issues. My house is nearly 30 years old and has always been ‘tight’ and I’ve fought mildew in closets for years. I considered a whole-house system, but decided to try this option first and the Humsure unit is perfect. It’s light enough to easily move between rooms. I simply rotate it between the rooms every few days. The 30-pint container is also very light and easy to remove, empty and replace. I leave the bypass closets doors open while the unit is in the room and have tested to find that levels inside the closet matched the room humidity reading. I’m completely satisfied. I highly recommend this product for similar applications. I can walk into any of those rooms now and smell the difference (because there is no longer any musty smell!) I just wished I had found this fix years ago-one and done.

They then said they would give me $15 toward a new adapter but apparently it doesn’t exist to buy separately. Since it was out of their one year warranty, they did offer $20 off another dehumidifier (which is nice of them) but why would I buy another one from them if it will just eventually stop working…

So far this has been a great purchase! We bought this dehumidifier to replace an old, inefficient unit that we purchased new in the late 1980s. “I’ve had this dehumidifier running continuously in my shed for about a month, and it’s working great to keep the moisture level down. Runs fine even in very cold temperatures. The real test will be this summer when it gets very hot and humid, but so far so good.
The only con I’ve experienced is that the built-in hygrometer is not very accurate. I have one that I know is accurate sitting next to it, and the readings are sometimes off by 5-10%. Not a big deal, but if you are trying to hit a very specific humidity level, this unit might not be the best for you. If you just want to reduce the humidity as much as possible, like me, then it’s great.”

I purchased this Humsure Humsure dehumidifier after spending a lot of time researching to find the best one and it appears that my efforts paid off. I have a guitar room in my house where I need to keep the relative humidity (RH) at a constant level to avoid damage that can occur to guitars from excess humidity. Living in Georgia where the humidity levels can become extremely high makes having a dehumidifier a necessity. I chose the Humsure Humsure model because of its size, and mostly because it allows you to set the desired RH setting to keep it at that level automatically. I like that it’s not noisy – kind of quiet really, that it has an automatic shut off when the tank gets full and that I have the option to use a drain hose for draining to a larger receptacle when I will be away for a longer period of time. I’m glad I did my research as I am very pleased with this dehumidifier and how it will keep my guitar collection protected from damage that can occur from moisture in the air.

This humidifier works well, however, after running for only 2 or 3 weeks the fan is making a loud knocking noise. If you lean it or smack the side, the knocking goes away for a short while. Something has come loose and is hitting the fan. Edit! *it’s the compressor knocking. Not the fan. Buyer beware

Outside of letting it rest in place for a few hours, there is little-to-no setup. Plug it in, turn it on, and you’re on your way to a dry basement. You can set your preferred level by hitting “hum.” It adjusts in increments of 5. It is surprisingly quiet. You may not want it right next to your head while sleeping, but it’s perfect for a basement. In an old PA house, the catch bucket fills up quick. No issues with overflow/leakage. I’m now running the provided hose direct to my drain. Only complaint is with the packaging/material of the hose. It comes folded up and the kinks are pretty severe. Works just fine though.

Shortly after receiving the replacement unit, my 2nd unit (bought 11 months prior) quit working! “Let me start by addressing the temperature of the power converter. It gets warm but after 3 days it is still less than 105, no big deal. As far as sucking water out of the air, we keep our room at about 78, and the humidity was about 65%. It is drawing about an ounce of water out of the air per hour and has lowered the humidity to about 60%. The room is about 31×13 which is larger than the max size room this is recommended for. As for noise, the description above says less than 40db while the paper inside the box says less than 50db. Hence the loss of a half star. Still the only thing my wife hears is the dropping of the water into the tray. The tray holds about 2 quarts. I will probably have to get another for our bedroom.

We did buy a second one and it died after one year. The problem is with the one-off switch. We were draining once a week. Apparently if you want it to keep working do not turn the thing off when you want to clean the bowl
UPDATE: it lasted 8 months. That is $9+ per month. I think it should have lasted longer. First the switch would not turn off then it just quit working. The transformer is still lit with a green light so I assume the machine went out. Again, it should have lasted longer
I wonder what will happen this winter when we keep the temp. about 72.
I suggest if you have the right size room and enough humidity that you get this.”

“I’m super happy with this purchase! I recently moved into an apartment about 2 months ago. I’m learning that the windows get condensation on them really easily. And wiping them down almost everyday really isn’t ideal. After buying a thermostat and finding out that it was super humid, I decided to try a dehumidifier.
The first dehumidifier I bought was small and meant for a room or office and didn’t collect the water that I needed it to. The second one I bought was for up to 2000 sq. ft. And was big, heavy, and loud. It worked well and noticed the moisture was gone in a day. However, it was just too loud to leave running when I was home. I finally found this one which is for 500 sq. ft. (Which my apartment is almost 600) and I love it! It’s pretty quiet and hard to notice it’s running most of the time. It does have a somewhat small tank that needs to be emptied once or twice a day which is fine. But it works super well and has a really accurate humidity measurement feature which the other ones didn’t do right.
If you’re looking for a medium size dehumidifier that isn’t $200, loud, super super heavy, and want to use it constantly or in a medium size placed I think this is perfect! It was really hard to find a medium size dehumidifier for around a 500 sq. ft. area. But I’m super happy I kept looking and trying.”

It has a lot of settings, including one for just a white noise at night. Even on its normal settings, it isn’t nearly as loud as our other dehumidifier. And it doesn’t seem to heat up the room the way some humidifiers do.

“I bought this a little over 2 years ago. I was pretty happy with it’s performance and efficiency in the beginning. About a year in, it stopped being able to sense the ambient humidity. This meant that I could only use it in continuous mode; so I had to babysit the unit, shutting it off and on manually using readings from a separate humidity sensor. This summer, it began to freeze over after being on for less than 30 min and before lowering the humidity down to comfortable levels. So now it’s practically unusable.
Most of the ACs that I’ve had have lasted over 5 years. A dehumidifier is pretty much the same type of appliance as an AC, so I don’t think a service life of more than 2 years is a lot to ask for a dehumidifier at this price point. It’s very disappointing”

I bought this to replace my dehumidifier which broke a little over a year after buying, apparently no repair shops will look at a dehumidifier :( I wanted something cheap that would help my small condo feel more comfortable during the humid summer months because my window air conditioning units only do so much, and I was replacing after such a short time so I didn’t want to spend too much. This unit does not pull out nearly as much water from the air, it can run for two days straight and I don’t have to empty it. I’d like to think that it helps a little, but if this is your first time getting a dehumidifier, get something else. This unit is very quiet though, my previous one was very loud but much more effective.

“This thing is pretty great so far. It’s compact and shockingly quiet. You can barely hear that it’s on, yet it seems to be pulling a ridiculous amount of moisture from the air. Bucket is full after just 8-10 hours of use, and the humidity in the room has dropped from 60% to 46% in that time. It is definitely doing its job.
My only slight criticism so far is that as efficient and productive as this machine is, I can tell already that I’m going to be emptying the bucket fairly often, so a larger one would have been better. There is an option for direct drainage, and it includes the required hose, but unfortunately for my specific setup I can’t go that route. Still, this is an excellent product. Hopefully it lasts, but it also has a 2 year warranty, so I’ll take my chances. Highly recommended.”

I purchased this dehumidifier thinking that it is made in USA that it would be a good one. So wrong. After a few months it quit working. I notified the service Dept and they had me try resetting it but to no avail. They sent me a new one and it’s lasted a short while also and then it did the same as the first one. After a while it would not defrost. Turned it off to let the ice melt but the compressor would not come back on. That’s the same problem as the first one. It’s just a piece of junk.

I bought this in April of 2020 because of the rave reviews. At first, I was happy too: quiet, sleek, kept the basement air dry. Then in August it started to ice up, stopped dehumidifying, I tried everything, no luck. After the usual run-around with customer service, the manufacturer sent me a replacement. So I’m thinking: great, I got a new machine for free! But the new one lasted scarcely any longer than the first one: it conked out in July of 2022, just after the warranty had expired.

This thing absolutely kicks . However it died completely after a year. Some weird error message which apparently there’s no fix for. So…all I can do is compare this to our old one. This thing is beautiful. It would look great anywhere. We love the capability of being able to have the tank drain directly into the basement sump drain instead of emptying the tank but it’s also nice to have the built-in tank if we want to put it in a specific room so we can use the ionizing function which our old one doesn’t have. Compared to the old one I cannot even tell this one is running from the sound. It is so quiet my life has changed since my office is in the basement. From the shopping I did I could not find a better price on anything for models with comparable capabilities. We love this thing.

This dehumidifier works perfectly for the South Florida humidity. I used to buy three small portable dehumidifiers , and they are terrible. This dehumidifier runs better than all of them combined together. My humidity was close to ~78%, and this one brings it down to 60% within an hour or two. “It took standard non-prime shipping time for the item, as expected since it is an appliance. When it arrived, the box was intact – no damage – but I did see an old layer of packing tape under the one used to seal the box, as well as an (I now assume) old shipping label.
Upon opening the box, I saw a sticky note on the dehumidifier (as pictured above), and an OLD return label (as pictured) in the box.

We just received dehumidifier , well actually but the 1st was major shipping damage so that one doesn’t count. We purchased of 3 in April 2021 and it worked great until Sept when it froze up and quit. Replacement was put in use in Sept 2021 and it died Aug 2022. We now have and are waiting the 24 hours before starting it up. These units are great working when they work but for us they just haven’t worked long enough. you want something that will last a bit. So I cannot give the actual units anything but a 1 star. Customer service has been 5 star across the board. They’ve replaced the units and worked with us to try and make it right. Unit is it though. We’ve been told this one has no warranty so this will most likely be our last one. We want these to work because when they do they are great. Quiet, efficient and easy to control. They just don’t last. Fingers crossed for “3rd time is the charm”.

Got rid of my springtail infestation! For a dehumidifier, this machine is extremely quiet. It pulls buckets of water from my basement, I get at least a bucket a day even on low humidity days (~40%) in the summer. This dehumidifier worked fine for about 16 months until the AC adapter stopped working. I contacted the seller to buy an ac adapter replacement, but they said they do not sell it. They then said they would give me $15 toward a new adapter but apparently it doesn’t exist to buy separately. Since it was out of their one year warranty, they did offer $20 off another dehumidifier (which is nice of them) but why would I buy another one from them if it will just eventually stop working…

It is designed to dehumidify 4500 sq feet. I put it in a 900 sq ft area with only 2 small, closed double pane Anderson windows and a door. The door is briefly opend and quickly shut once a day. The 50 pint unit can only bring the humidity from 62% to 54% when set for 35% even though it runs continuously. An expensive, whole house in-ducting dehumidifier has a 100 pint capacity; so, this one should have “a walk in the park”. I trial set demand for 60% when the room was at 54% with Continuous and Off as instructed . It still continued running. Water bucket fills to required level for the built-in pump to run OK. Even on Continuous(also asks for 35%) + (higher speed fan) the unit does not do its job!

I bought a number of gauges to test different areas and after two days of running this dehumidifier, it knocked the RH% down 10-15%. It is a bit noisier than I expected, but otherwise I am happy with this purchase.

I bought this product i. It worked great for a year and a half until the unit started freezing over. They honored their warranty and sent me a new one. The replacement lasted for about a year before it started doing the same thing. The person on the phone was nice and told me to try a reset procedure which I did. It did not work and he told me it was due to a problem with the auto defrost but could not send me a replacement due to there being no warranty on the replacement they had already sent me but I could buy a new one at 20% off. They know they have an issue but are selling a faulty product. Had to purchase a different brand and hope for the best.

I never use the hose attachment, only the tank. For a time I was very happy with this machine. The tank water was clear as it should be. Strangely, the tank gradually became discolored with sediment and green/brown film that I finally discovered was coming from standing water growing organisms in a pooling area behind the hose outlet. Luckily, I unscrewed and removed the cap on the hose outlet or I wouldn’t have this. When I removed the cap, nasty water poured out with chunks of green/brown growth in it and the inside of the hose attachment pipe was covered with it. When I tilted the machine backwards, even more tainted water came out! This is with the tank empty and/or removed meaning that standing water pools continuously behind the hose attachment below the level where it flows into the tank. I could see the area with a flashlight through the coils. There’s damn dish built-in due to bad design and it’s impossible to get to it to really it. It’s a recipe for disease! Please, for health’s sake, check this is you own this unit and use the tank! By the way I have owned made by Hair and Whirlpool and never encountered this type of situation.”

It beeps and indicator is on when the tank is full to remind you to empty the tank. You are able to clean the filter easily and it is not too noisy when the machine is on. I was quite surprised just how amazing of a product this is! I live in the PNW and moisture is a problem! Especially in the winter! It was very difficult to keep my house warm before buying this dehumidifier since the moisture would suck up all of the heat immediately after turning the heater off for the night. It also makes a sound, the indicator light turns red, and it shuts off when the reservoir is full. It removed the humidity in my room better than expected. This was my first dehumidifier so I really didn’t know what to expect but I’m very happy with my purchase. The water reservoir is easy to remove and dump. The filter seems really easy to clean, I haven’t done that yet but I did remove it and put it back when testing all the parts. I have this in my living room and use the water tank but it does have a hose you can attach for continuous draining. I’m thinking about putting it in the basement and using the hose to see how well that works.

I love this dehumidifier. It is simple to operate and very efficient. It will remove quite a bit of water quickly but you have to understand that it is for a smaller space and will not work like a full size dehumidifier with a compressor. I use it in a 10’ x 11’ sunroom that can get very humid in the summer and the Gocheer can bring the humidity from 95% down to about 60%. I have a smaller Ivation dehumidifier that will remove about half the amount of water in the same amount of time. I am actually quite impressed with this unit. It is very quiet and the noise does not bother me at all. It does not make noise like a regular dehumidifier with a compressor motor. I purchased a second unit for one of my bedrooms and it definitely helps there also. Once you get the humidity down to about 60% it slows down the amount of absorption and doesn’t seem to remove much after that. My only minor complaint is that although the red power button is on the same side as where you empty the water reservoir, it is not lighted so you don’t know from a distance if it is on. You have to turn the unit around and face it backwards so you can see a lighted indicator for power, and tank full. If they made the power button lighted then you could view the unit from the front and you could see if the water tank is full and you could tell if it is on as well thereby eliminating the need for the lights in the back. The small water tank view window in the back is too small to tell where the water level is. This is the only reason I took off one star. All in all it’s not that big of a deal and I have adjusted and still love the unit for its efficient operation.

I turned it on continuous run mode and hooked a hose to the drain hose outlet to avoid emptying the tank and any downtime from the machine turning off because the tank was full. I plugged this in this year for the first time and my electric bill is over $166 a month now without the A/C running. my old dehumidifier 、e finally gave out I never had a bill that high with the 、 and the window A/C unit both running I cannot afford to turn the A/C on at all this year. I am on disability and cannot afford to pay more than what the bill jumped up too. I could not sleep so many nights due to it being so hot and can’t afford to turn on the A/C WORST mistake I bought off of here. The auto defrost does not work well I have MANY times had to shut it down and let it defrost. It does do a good job of drawing out the moisture but setting the controls do NO good at all either have to have it run 24/7 or turn it off manually it will shut off at 、 humidity which is high for it to shut off but it turns back in less than 5 minutes The air filter light in on nonstop I wish I had known it was poorly made as I can’t afford to buy another one but what I am paying in electric I guess I should get a different one this winter. I would not recommend this unless you have money to waste. I am going to get my old 、 out and use it. I just had a problem with it not shutting off and being on a fixed income I figured I would try to save some money a month as the old one was smaller and I thought it had to run too much and maybe my bill would not be so high but I never had such a high one as with this and NO A/C due to the operating cost of this. I also had to return it due to hose connection did not fit the hose it leaked and now this one

Something like a medium size box fan on low/medium. The noise it does make is pretty consistent without any weird gurgling or compressor cycling noises. I have had it running non-stop to get the humidity level down in my basement and it has definitely started to level out.

“If you like mopping floors, this is the dehumidifier for you.
I followed ALL instructions to the letter (let the unit sit for 24+ hours, capped the continuous drain outlet, inserted the pump drain hose fully, opted out of the continuous mode, etc., etc.) but after 10-ish hours of operation, my basement floor was awash. It seems the pump never engaged — which is supposed to happen when the bucket is full — and so when the bucket filled to capacity, it overflowed. Apparently, the “”shut off”” that’s supposed to occur when the bucket is full is disabled on pump operation so this was a perfect storm of malfunction. Now, I’m attempting to use it with the gravity drain but I’m afraid to leave it running without direct supervision. What a fun evening’s recreation!
Needless to say, I’ll be returning this but it’s going to be an enormous hassle. The unit is heavy and unwieldy; hauling it upstairs for pickup won’t be any fun at all. And, although I saved all of the packing materials, they’re going to have to be reconstituted in some way as I had to break down the box in order to get to the unit. Worst of all, I’m without a dehumidifier when I need it most.
I should’ve picked up a dehumidifier at Sam’s, for less money and aggravation. Be forewarned.”

This dehumidifier is mostly effective. I still gather some moisture on the most distant windows from it, but I’m probably using it for a larger space than it is intended. With that being said, I know it’s working for the most immediate location right next to the center of my apartment by the bathroom. I will say, though, It is awkward to empty. I spill it almost every time because the lid is either getting stuck or bursting open when I least expect it. I have resorted to emptying it into the bathtub so that I don’t spill all over my sink while emptying. Otherwise, the unit itself is quiet and looks subtle if not good in the room.

Works great in my 100-year-old home in Hawaii! This has been running constantly in my master bedroom, right outside the master bath, for the past 2 or 3 months. We previously had mold/mildew issues in our room due to poor ventilation and no insulation in our walls. We set this to 45% humidity and it has considerably reduced the moisture in the air. I connected the tubing it came with so it drains outside through a small hole I made in our floor, that way I don’t have to empty the drain pan multiple times a day. The tubing connects directly to the condensate line and bypasses the drain pan so it stays empty (contrary to some other reviews). If the tubing arrives with some kinks in it, drop it into a large pot of boiling water for a few minutes and it will straighten out. The unit is relatively quiet, but does generate a bit of heat (as do all dehumidifiers). Luckily it’s small & efficient enough to where it doesn’t warm up the room at night. Glad we got this, and hopefully it will continue working for a long time!

When showering, turning on the dehumidifier even makes it so that the mirrors do not fog up. Works very well but might dry your skin, so take breaks. It has a nice blue glow, too.

“This is an ok dehumidifier for the size and price. On the plus side it takes out about the same amount of water as other dehumidifiers of the same size. I also have an medium size dehumidifier working in the same 200 square foot / 18.59 square meter room. They both removed about 700ml of water in a 36hour period with the I removing just a few ml more. The difference could be the fact the has a faster fan and airflow though it is noticeably louder. With most modern electronics built the way there are I might imagine they have the same internal workings except for the fan. I will post again if I get a better measurement.
These dehumidifiers are only for small areas. With both working in my small room 200 sqft room it makes it rather nice compared to no dehumidifier at all. Before I got these my room smelled moldy and my shower towel would not dry after hanging in my room for a whole day. I’m sure one of these would work well enough for my sized room but I like to oversize things. If you need a dehumidifier for a small space then this one or the medium dehumidifier work just fine and they are the same price. If you have a larger space go with a compressor style dehumidifier or a larger desiccant style one.”

“I use this unit for my bathroom in my 675 sq. ft. apartment with another larger unit in the living room. It’ll work for a very small room, not 675 sq. ft.
I skipped writing a negative review when it literally flooded my bathroom after about a year’s use (I bought it to avoid humidity that leads to mold since I’m deathly allergic to mold, so a flood was quite ironic). The company sent me a brand new unit, so I thought that was incredible after almost a year of use. Plus I figured it was possibly an anomaly…the water leakage, that is.
The last few days, however–after having the new unit for about a year as well–it started creating large puddles on my bathroom floor. I presume flooding will follow if I continue to use it based on previous experience.
Secondly, despite washing the filter regularly, there is a TON of disgusting dust build up on the metal ridges behind the filter, which surely isn’t healthy or good for the energy efficiency of the unit (the pic is 3 months worth of dust when, after washing the filter, I didn’t bother to inspect the metal ridges behind it). And the metal part is almost impossible to clean. It can be superficially wiped, but you’ll not get all of the dust in all of the crevices or the dust that’s in the crevices blocked by the plastic of the unit) AND you’ll bend the metal ridges, leading to lack of efficacy of the unit. I’ve literally tried using a q-tip and I still couldn’t clean it thoroughly.
Lastly, this unit is a health hazard for those allergic to mold as the standing water where the hose would go, which I never used, becomes moldy. When I twisted off the cap to be sure the unit wasn’t leaking because perhaps it wasn’t screwed on tightly enough, putrid yellowish-brown water leaked all over my bathroom floor”

We bought this about 3 weeks ago, plugged it in and kind of forgot about it until I realized the air seemed easier to breathe. Our home is a 42’ fifth wheel and our home base is in east Texas. The humidity is alway around or above 65%, and before purchasing this we had moisture beads on all of our windows for most of the day. I have breathing and chronic sinus issues but after a few days of running this unit I could breath easier and had less sinus related issues (headaches and drainage). We’ve ran it constantly since buying it and have it drain through the tube to the outside on the ground, it’s quiet (sort of a low key hum), shut off and start up cycle has a little click that we got used to quickly, puts out a very small amount of warm air not enough to be a bother (it sits in our dining room on a chair so it doesn’t suck dog hair into the filter). We keep it set at 45-50 level as per recommended through our research of optimal home humidity level, we no longer have water on our windows, I no longer have to turn vent fans on when boiling water to cook to get rid of moisture in the RV. All in all we are very pleased with this little workhorse.

This is a great dehumidifier! I honestly cannot believe how much moisture this is removing from my bedroom. We have been running this continuously 24/7 for over 7 months and it works just as good as it did day one! In the summer months when the air is hot and humid, we would have to empty the container every 3 days because it was full! Amazing how damp the air can be and you don’t even realize it. Also it stopped any mold growth we would sometimes get in corners of our basement due to a combo of water and the hot summer air. Our basement also is not “musty” smelling since this has been running. I am not living in the basement so I can’t comment on noise level being troublesome with day to day life, but when I am down there doing laundry often and when I am I do not notice any noise from the device. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a dehumidifier but wants high price results!

Easy setup, very user friendly! The 35-pint model works fantastic. The only Con is the amount of heat produced. It’s not bad, but it does not help on a hot summer day.

Works Great! Set this in an unfinished storage room next to a crawlspace off an unfinished basement. Got a drainage hose and an extension cord, and fired it up. Works like a champ. I’ve had it for several months now, and no problem whatsoever. It just works. Dried the air in the space overnight and keep it dry all the time.

Easy setup! We got one for the basement which seems humid and gets wet when it rains a lot. I can’t believe how much water this pulls out of thin air! The basement is feeling noticeably drier. The only downside is I have to empty it frequently. It fills up 2-3 times a day. A larger size might have been in order. I’ve read some basement moisture is not only in the air but can be trapped in objects like walls, furniture, etc.
